Khaki Sisal Bin Basket - 3 Sizes
Our Khaki Sisal Bin Baskets are handwoven by talented female artisans in rural Kenya using strands of natural and hand-dyed sisal. Sisal baskets are appreciated for their ability to be re-shaped, as well as their durability and all-natural composition. Sold singly. Because this is a handmade item, each will vary slightly.
In order to shape your basket, spray your it lightly with cold water, then set it aside a few minutes so the sisal fibers can soak up the water. Once the wet sisal has stiffened, you can press out the creases and mold the basket to your desired shape. Air dry your shaped basket on a covered surface, in case any dye bleeds.
